Alex was a KPMG (Peat Marwick) Partner from 1975 until 2001 after which he was a full time consultant with KPMG until 30 June 2004 then until 1 July 2005 with McGrath Nicoll.

He has been a full time insolvency practitioner since 1969 and an official liquidator since 1981 during which time he has been financial adviser, chairman, receiver, liquidator of many companies of various sizes including Hooker Corporation, Chase Corporation and HIH Insurance.
Alex enjoys the challenge of being involved in insolvency problems and has a reputation for resolving complex issues in a reasonable time at a reasonable cost.
